Important Notice for CAD Requirements

Starting in October, 2012, ODOT Technical Services upgraded the applications used by the department for CAD and road design. The current version of the Bentley Applications, as of February 1, 2013, will be:

MicroStation V8i SS3 ver. 08.11.09
InRoads V8i SS2 ver. 08.11.07
Descartes SS3 ver. 08.11.09

All new contracts containing CAD work after that date will require the use of the above versions. Use of these new versions on any existing contracts should be examined for benefit to the agency, and where benefit is shown, use of these versions can be accommodated at no additional cost to the agency.

Internally, as an office is being upgraded to the new versions of the Bentley applications, projects are being migrated.

Any questions concerning the current version of our CAD Products can be directed to Gary Holeman (503) 986-3758, the Automation Engineer.
